ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Jasmine Wilfong is an internationally published multi-disciplinary designer, creative director and visual artist specializing in graphic design + branding. With extensive experience within the retail, interior design, luxury and consumer product goods space, she is best known for her design direction and creative lead for start-up companies where she helps guide new brands to realize their true visual identity and aesthetic representation. Jasmine's textile and product designs have been sold online, and internationally in boutiques and in retail chains such as Nordstrom, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Toys R Us, Indigo Canada, David Jones Australia and more.
"I like design to be truthful and simple yet delivered directly and confidently. In regards to branding, layout design and packaging, when imagery and resources are limited, I am forced to take only the most meaningful assets and magnify them in their best light... getting to the core of a company or a product and letting it speak for itself. I really think of design communication as a language. There are rules, but there's also a wonderful "vocabulary", you can play with structure and there's a lot of meaning behind choices in materials, colors. They all symbolize something more than just style- something greater than the product itself. Everyone has a story to tell and I collaborate with brands to help successfully express and translate that, visually. "
